Preview of what I’m working on for a professional writing contest. Until the contest is over, this is all you get…..

The American Dream. A perception that is passed on from generation to generation that evokes hope for even the littles of underdogs. Praying and wishing that one day, they will get the chance to get just a glimmer of that hope that encompasses their reason for living becoming one of the greats to inspire generations to come. And if they are lucky, make it into history books. However, the harsh reality is that to many in America, becomes fiction in a small dilapidated world that they began to adapt to and coming to the harsh realism that the American Dream they worked their whole life’s chasing and hoping to one day see. Is fictions as a Disney Fairytale and to those in a far much worst scenario. A mythical legend like the Ancient Tales of El Dorado and Camelot. Because in their reality, you’re lucky if you make it to the age of 60.
