Song of the Day

P!nk – Courage

Although this a repeat from previous song of the day P!nk’s “Courage” seemed most appropriate according to the recent blog that was posted earlier of the “Bias-ness of COVID.” For a moment, I was stuck in the feeling of why am I working so hard to work on gaining positive change or how I say “fuck shit up for the greater good.” As the truth of the matter is that society makes it so hard to even be motivated on making this change happen. With the assumptions, the gaslighting, the belittling that I constantly get and the assumptions of choosing sides. But after today I see why, it’s not about my feelings. It’s about staying consistent for one common thing that we all need. Regardless if people sometimes don’t deserve or earn it. It’s because we all been there, we may be there, or we are currently there. Where if we all give up on the hope that we all need. Hope will forever die with it. Which why it truly takes courage and courage of conviction to stay consistent in caring for others.
