Song of the Day

Frank Ocean – Moon River

Originally featured in my favorite vintage classic “Breakfast At Tiffany’s,” the song “Moon River” was the song that kept hope in me for a very long time through childhood. As my life long dream was to one day see New York City. As I had so much resentment when I gave up the opportunity, until I realized five years later. I would of been on that 911 flight. Fast forward after my life in Houston, it still symbolized hope in me. Which after hearing Frank Ocean’s version revealed. That regardless of the bad shit that happen, hope I had was still intended. As naive as it sounds, I can say after the worst case scenario, I am confident that I will never lose. Being to others a naive dreamer, makes Frank Ocean’s version of “Moon River” today’s song of the day.
