Song of the Day

Macklemore – Glorious

One of the things that I admire about Macklemore is the growth he has shown as an artist. From day one, he had the best interest of those involved in his life when he first went mainstream, and became in my eyes a modern day philosopher as one of the most favorite quotes he has in this song is “did I look out for other people or did I do it all for fame.” Through the music he has put in his music, allways have a selfless message where he courageously deals with the bad behaviors that made him use emotional crutches. One things that I love about this that I find truth is that “world is up for grabs” and if we want to be a beacon of hope, we have to resolve our issues to do what “we were born to become” which in the end is truly “glorious.”
