The Keys Gained on The Journey of an Unraveled Road

The Qualities Gained on The Journey

Did you ever get that feeling of pure humbled sense of pride where you surpassed the things you never thought you would ever accomplish? If not lets take it to something more relatable. Remember that feeling that you struggled at getting something right and you finally nailed it? Better yet that feeling on the job you completed that blows people’s mind? Let’s take it back and a bit personal. How about that the feeling that everyone doubted your skills which came into your financial wellbeing? The promotion you got that everyone said you wouldn’t get because of the things you lacked, the characteristics you shown all based on the assumption that people had that didn’t take you serious. That is what the journey feels like but ten times better. It’s not on the accomplishments I have achieved, because let’s be real. Everyone assumes it’s because I have a book, I have a blog, or whatever materialistic gain I attained. It’s because of the fact that I proved for once in my life that I was capable of things that in the end turned out to be limitless.

The journey isn’t about the materialistic things you gained, it’s about what you prove to yourself as proving to yourself is the limitless power that one needs to survive this burning world of bullshit and the perception living our “faux best life” because let’s all face it, they are compensating for something they don’t have, self assurance without the need of materialistic things. With that being said the Keys Gained are made to emphasize what was gained and what I’ve gained which are a total of seventeen characteristics:

  1. Courage of Conviction
  2. Self Respect
  3. Identify the Real Issue At Hand
  4. Identify and Confront Manipulative People
  5. Happy Alone
  6. Independence and Resilience
  7. Disconnect from Negative People
  8. Self Reassurance
  9. Self Efficacy
  10. Humbleness
  11. Forgiveness
  12. Limitless Individual Power
  13. Rationality
  14. The Power To Stand Alone
  15. The Ability To Let Go
  16. Compassion
  17. Power To Persevere

It’s easy to attempt it but it’s hard to determine how it’s truly done, how it looks like, and how to get over hurdles. Truth is it starts by knowing that progress is progress no matter how big or small. We get caught up trying to get it right the first time, but truth is we need to realize there’s no right or wrong way of doing it. Becoming a lifestyle coach I realize that some professionals have you do things there setting those up for failure, which as the individuality of people it’s not a one way method. Those who feel they know better usually take things personal, where as my way is trying to work with someone in identifying the behavior pattern that hinders the growth of an individual. As the journey is not a walk for anyone, sometimes it’s a climb, a swim, a boat ride on different terrain. If it was a one set way, then that means we wouldn’t have individuality, but should be embraced for the Beauty individuality has. In the end we are all an array of broken pieces that with the right tools can be the most beautiful work of art.
