Why You Observe The Behaviors of Those Who See The Bright Side of Things
One of the things that people assume is a undeterminable variable is the positive attitude that I perceive to be as those in doubt, see it as deflecting my true nature which is hiding insecurity. For the longest time I also doubted this characteristic as looking back on my life, was conditioned as a child. The funny thing about this was that my families struggles became the beacon of hope as they saw something early on in life that I can see in me that took me till age 36 to finally realize. Many people will say you had family, which I tell you this now “don’t convince yourself of this lie you tell yourself.” Truth be told I have met many people who had it worst than me and had no consistent adult role model as many have come from broken homes and jumped from foster home to foster home. The consistency in achieving this characteristic is gratitude.
“The Secret” was one of the first thing that I reached hoping it would magically change my life which is the “act of wishing things upon existence.” Truth is I still was too fucked up to even have the Universe provide to me as I was still selfish, deflecting, and dealing with a lot of emotional and traumatic baggage that I drank away. It was the pivotal time in my life that out of trauma, had me working on improving my demeanor which resulted to the “The Journey of an Unraveled Road” that had me questioning why people couldn’t reach this amazing milestone that surpassed all the biggest milestones in my life. Not because they didn’t matter. Because for the first time I appreciated myself, identified my bad behaviors, worked to fix them, and made a huge impact as those who found bravery to attempt to face these issues gained courage to heal the wounds that kept them achieving their true greatness.
What is Positive Thinking?
Positive Thinking is defined as emotional feelings. Some of those descriptive words are described as powerful, invigorating, and stress free. As one of the main side effects are less stressful. Seeing the glass half empty is one the key triggers of stress as it makes you feel like their is something missing, instills the feeling of anxiety as it follows up with the mentality of keeping it full or substituting for the next best thing. Where as seeing the glass half full follows with being resourceful and finding ways to refill the glass with the available resources around, knowing that the glass will eventually become full (being a science geek embarking in nature and different ways to attain water from the atmosphere), and knowing that if the glass ever runs empty; the glass can always be refilled.
How to Become a Positive Thinker
I was introduced to a book called “Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff” which was gifted by my manager many years ago, which looking back at it now could see she was one of those passive aggressive individuals as the way they let me go was an also an unlawful way of doing so by using “HIPPA” against my dismissal in the involuntary termination during another illegal act in Texas which was terminating me without pay. I knew it was coming as the HR representative accidentally sent me a email venting about my entitlement and laziness that I still have the email on saying that my approval of HIPPA wasn’t horrible and reciting the laws that she attempted to fire me with was all illegal as she quoted my personality as “horrible.” If I knew what I knew now, that would of been a immediate case which through unlawful termination would of resulted in a discrimination case against a disability (depression due to two traumatic events of coping with a violent domestic violence situation and losing my maternal grandmother and a recent death at the time) that would of made ANICO a demon during the time of the era. However I am glad that it didn’t work out that way as the Owner of the company was pretty awesome and should have not been demonized by my manager, her manager, and HR which all presented passive aggressive behaviors, favoritism, and retaliation, that DentaQuest also did during my illegal attack against a woman who assumed I was transgendered regardless of all the legal documents presented, including my birth certificate. One of the consistent characteristics they proved was the lack of positive thinking which also consist in the believe of people. They always thought the worst in tough situations and also the worst of people. Hey life is full of positive and negative surprises. Looking at the negative when everything wrong is crucial. It’s hard but always knowing that “things don’t last forever and pain is meant to be temporary” is one of the keys that helped me believe the truth of the realism that “we all have something.” The perception those work hard to maintain if you really look are just smoke screen and mirrors as many of them reach that breaking point that has them just break down at the unexpected times and the most unexpected places. Being honest with yourself is the main factor of beginning the pivotal and powerful act of positive thinking. Realizing my potential and truly believing myself was the start of authentic positive thinking which became one of the most liberating experiences in my life. From zero from bonafide badass was just an understatement. One of the most rewarding blessings in this journey has been the becoming of inspiration of others who may be struggling with the things they feel are mountains to climb. Trust me I’ve been there. At the end of the day when you reach the top of that mountain looking at your accomplishment, you realize that the mountain was just a hill. And when you see the next mountain to climb, you look at that bad boy and you think to yourself “bring it motherfucker.”
